Presentation Title: How to use APEX to Build & Manage Automated Browser Tests
Speaker: Mr Simon Hunt ACE Associate
Company: MOD Contractor
Co-presenter: Angela Markwick - Apex Test Automation
Presentation abstract: In this session, delegates will learn how to use APEX itself to build maintainable browser-based automation scripts for fast, consistent, repeatable testing of APEX applications. All the products demonstrated are available through open-source projects, and there is no need for any specialist programming skills other than APEX. Also covered is the ability to call the automation scripts programmatically and run them on a load-testing environment or as part of an automated build process (aka continuous integration). The techniques shown will help developers become more agile in their development and greatly improve the overall quality of their applications.
